An exciting introduction to Scouting

With perfect attendance throughout the week, Rangers will complete the following requirements:
Scout: 1a-f, 2a-d, 3a-b, 4a-b, 5
Tenderfoot: 1a-c, 2a-b, 3a-d, 4a-d, 5a-d, 6a, 7a, 8
Second Class: 1b-c, 2a-c, f-g, 3a-e, 4, 6a-e, 7b, 8a-b, 9a-b
First Class: 1b, 3a-d, 4a-b,5a-d, 7a-f, 9a-b
In addition, Scouts will earn:
Totin' Chip
Firem'n Chit
First-Aid Merit Badge
Swimming Merit Badge (if they complete the BSA swimming test)
A Scoutcraft Merit Badge of choice

Camp Director’s Note:
We encourage you to test their skills from what they’ve learned, however we are willing to sign their books upon your request. If your Ranger completed the swimming merit badge they also completed the rank requirements associated with swimming.
Aquatics Camp

Scouts BSA, Ships, & Crews - Scouts 15 years of age or older will be trained to be lifeguards.
Welcome to our exciting Aquatics Leadership Camp Week! Dive into an unforgettable summer experience centered around building leadership skills and having a blast in the water. Our comprehensive program is designed to incorporate all the training and merit badges mentioned, providing a fully developed and immersive aquatic experience.
Camp Highlights
- Lifeguard Training: Become certified in lifeguarding with our intensive training program.
- Paddle Boarding Award: Master the skills needed to earn the Paddle Boarding award.
- Snorkeling Award: Explore the underwater world and earn your Snorkeling award.
- Mile Swim: Challenge yourself with the Mile Swim and achieve this impressive milestone.
- Swimming Merit Badge: Improve your swimming techniques and earn this essential badge.
- Lifesaving Merit Badge: Learn crucial lifesaving skills and earn the Lifesaving merit badge.
- Canoeing Merit Badge: Gain proficiency in canoeing and earn this exciting merit badge.
- Rowing Merit Badge: Develop your rowing skills and achieve the Rowing merit badge.
- Kayaking Merit Badge: Master kayaking and earn the Kayaking merit badge.
Integrated Aquatic Experience
Throughout the week, Scouts will participate in a cohesive program that seamlessly integrates all these trainings and awards. This approach ensures a holistic learning experience, where each activity builds on the other, fostering a comprehensive understanding of aquatic skills and leadership.
National Aquatic Award
Scouts will work towards the National Aquatic Award, a segment of the National Outdoor Awards Program, recognizing their dedication and achievement in aquatic activities.
Adult Opportunities
We haven't forgotten about the adults! Our camp offers:
- Paddle Craft Safety Training: Enhance your skills and ensure safe paddle craft practices.
- Swimming and Water Rescue Training: Gain vital water rescue skills and increase your confidence in aquatic environments.
COPE/Climbing Camp
Scouts BSA - All ages can participate but only those 13 and graduated the 8th grade or older can participate in the COPE high elements.
